The zoo section of Bannerghatta Biological Park is distinct from the vehicle safaris. You explore this area entirely on foot, moving between enclosures designed for captive mammals, birds, and reptiles. Standalone zoo tickets cost ₹120 for adults, and the gates are open from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
The entire park is closed to visitors every Tuesday. You will cover a lot of ground, so comfortable walking shoes are necessary. Pack water and snacks in reusable containers, as single-use plastics are strictly banned inside the gates.
